The Visit

I had said to the guys here I would be back, and I always keep my word and tonight I visited as it had been ages.

The Food

I remember I had this a while ago and really liked it, so I had to have it again this visit.

On arrival, this visually looked so so good and smelled really good.

I took a big bite and mmm the flavour was good then followed a slight kick but it was a good one.

The chicken was very tender and packed with flavour.

This was a good chicken burger!!! and one of my favs!

Smashburger (Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow) 2021 : Review

The Visit

Tonight I was going to see Les Miserables at the theatre and I needed to get some fast food, so I went back to Smashburger as I have always had a good burger here.

The Food

Signature Chicken £9.95
BBQ, BACON & CHEDDAR – BBQ sauce with Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese & haystack onions on a SMASH bun.

I felt like having a chicken burger tonight, so I opted for this as it sounded really good.

I took a big bite and ohh this was nice.

The chicken was nice and tender and the coating nice and crispy, flavour wise for me personally it could have done with a little more BBQ as the taste was just there and no more.

My Rating:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

SMASH Fries (large) £4.25
Tossed in Italian olive oil, rosemary & garlic.

I had these the last time I was in Smashburger and loved them, so I had to get them again this visit.

They looked, smelled and tasted just amazing!

These are super addictive and I love the flavour of these.

Highly recommended if you visit Smashburger!

Coulotte Steakhouse Take Away (Cambuslang, Glasgow) : Review

Order Date : 6th November 2020

Before this place opened their social media followed me, which alerted me to them opening. Since then I have kept watch to what they offer, and I did aim to take a visit…but this year has not really been the best to visit restaurants, unfortunately.

My Order

I decided to go for a burger tonight….

The Coulotter Burger £12.95

Burger topped with 5oz Coulotte steak, garlic fried onions, smoked cheese sauce, Parmesan and poppy seed crisp, burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle

Yup all that and as you can see it was a MASSIVE burger and I did try and eat it with my hands but it won so I had to cut it up and eat it that way.

The flavour of the garlic onions, smoked cheese sauce was amazing!!!! this really made this burger mega tasty.

Each bit was very nice, and that sauce etc really did make this a very tasty burger.

If you do try to eat this burger with your hands, make sure you have many napkins as you will need it as its a messy one.

Chilli Salt ‘N’ Pepper Chips (v) £2.75

Along with the big burger which you will have seen from above, I got a side of chips.⠀

For me thick chips are meh, skinny fries are 100% better but I would give these a go and see what they were like.

These were actually ok, they had a nice crispness to them and the flavour was nice.

These worked really well with the flavour of the burger.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Overall :

Overall I had a really nice take away, the burger was good the fries were good and I cant really fault them.

When I order again I think I would like to try their chicken burgers, and see how they are so keep watching for when I do another order from here.

Also once I have time and things go back to normal, I will take a wee visit inside to see what its like.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
