JÄGERMEISTER UK UNVEIL ‘JÄGERMEISTER COLD BREW COFFEE’
A perfect fusion of Jägermeister, Cold Brew Coffee and Cacao

I was invited to visit the Tiki Bar in Glasgow, for the Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee event which I was very excited to attend. One I love wee events and two I love coffee so this sounded interesting.

The inventive liqueur sees the classic Jägermeister recipe of 56 herbs and spices expertly fused with cold-brewed Arabica coffee and just a hint of cacao to create a new Jägermeister shot experience, with a barista touch.

I have never been to the Tiki Bar, but its always been on my list, so tonight was going to be a great night for many new things.

On entering I could see how funky this place was, plus lots of Jägermeister goodies and promo materiel this looked like it was going to be a fun event.

I was welcomed and offered a little taster, and this was an interesting taster. I could have a shot of Cold Brew, or a small ice cream cone with the shot….it was a hard decision so I went for both.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM I loved this, it tasted like Jägermeister but MUCH BETTER….well for me as I have a sweet tooth and like coffee.

This for me was a perfect shot, it was amazing and I couldn’t wait to try more tonight.

I spotted a little list of cocktails that were being made tonight, that included Jägermeister’s new Cold Brew drink and they all sounded good…..which means I had to try them all.

I got talking to someone that worked at Jägermeister, he welcomed me and recommended that tonight I had to try the Espresso Martini.

This was a great recommendation as one of my favourite cocktails is an Espresso Martini…..now it was time to taste how it was with Cold Brew.

Jägermeister’s Cold Brew Coffee, Salted Caramel, Espresso, Vanilla

Ohhh now this was different but in a good way, it tasted like a normal Espresso Martini but sweeter and the salted caramel just rounded it off.

I don’t know if these cocktails were just for tonight, or will continue to be served but tonight the first for us was free but had a normal price of £6 which is a good price.

I loved this and could easily have more, but tonight there were others to try…

There were several cocktails available tonight but the Espresso Martini and the following two were my favourites.

Bounty Hunter
(Coconut-Washed Jägermeister’s Manifest, Honey and Chocolate Bitters)

This was very nice and had a good strong Bounty flavour, with a nice hint of the Jägermeister flavour coming through. This is another one I would recommend.

Gecko Club
(Jägermeister’s Cold Brew Coffee, Orgeat, Lime, Aromatic Bitters)

OH now this was different, the first flavour was the Cold Brew then it finished on a subtle Lime flavour which made it refreshing. Another one for you to try when visiting here or making it at home.

Overall :

Firstly a big thank you to Jägermeister for the invite tonight, and for the amazing night I enjoyed it from start to finish.

For me this was a really nice drink, and one I have already got myself a bottle at home to enjoy 🙂

I will either be going back to try more Cold Brew cocktails, or buying Cold Brew to make the Espresso Martini at home 🙂

Jägermeister’s Cold Brew will be available NOW in Morrisons and selected off-licenses NOW!!! and that it would work as a great Christmas gift.

I highly recommend this if you have a sweet tooth and like coffee.

Thanks Tiki Bar & Jägermeister 🙂

Kris Visits : Nomad Sky Bar (Bucharest, Romania) VLOG

While I was in Bucharest this year, I wanted to visit a sky bar but I didn’t know what one. While we were walking about we came across this place.

This was a really nice one and I would visit again.

While I was at work I got an email in my inbox, and it was an invite to come to a place called the Dockyard Social for a blogger event. The Dockyard is a place I had heard the name a few times, but to be honest not really much about it.

The Dockyard was on my list to visit, so I kindly accepted the invite and added it to my calendar.

Dockyard Social is a new street food and bar hub near Finnieston, close to the SECC, Hydro and the West End.

After work, I made my way over to the Dockyard…

First Impressions :

When my taxi arrived outside I was thinking to myself “is this the right place”, it looked like a big warehouse….so this was interesting.

On entering the building wow it was massive and very cool inside.

Tonight apart from the blogger event, there was a Halloween event happening so that’s why it has all the funky spooky items everywhere.

We were given a welcome cocktail which was very nice, one was Melon (not a fan) and the other looked interesting as it had a syringe….yup that’s the one I went for.

While enjoying my cocktail, I took a walk around seeing what food stalls were here.

These food stalls are always here, and what a variety you get to pick from. You have so many options, you have to have a little something from a few. I am not sure if they are always here, or if the vendors change to give you constant variety.

Plus there was a few more, but it was very busy and I didn’t get a chance to take photos.

It was now time to have something to eat, as I was very hungry so this was going to be a tough choice as there was so many nice items to pick from today.

The Food..

Tonight I opted to get two items, one from one stand and one from another.

NomNam : Korean Fried Chicken Wings £5

Well, these looked and smelled very nice, now it was time to taste.

WOW, these were very good….and VERY messy but worth every bite and mess all over my fingers and mouth. The flavour was really good and very moreish.

Value for money was REALLY good, and if you visit Dockyard do try these.

Lit : Salt & Szechuan Pepper Chicken Wrap £5

This was on my list to try all night, as it sounded so good.

Firstly all this for £5 wow really good, and the smell was amazing.

Every bite of this was really good, the flavour of the chicken with everything else was perfect.

Cocktails…

I noticed that they did cocktails, and all of them sounded very good

Overall

This is a very cool place, and if you follow them on their Dockyard Social Facebook Page you will see they do many fun events.

I will definitely be going back as it was a very good evening, and the atmosphere was really fun.

Street food is fast becoming one of the most popular ways to eat out in Glasgow and having Dockyard on the scene just makes it even easier to have your Street Food fix.

Please do take a visit here to one of the event, its a very cool place with really good street food.

See you guys soon and thanks again 🙂
