The Visit
Today I felt like going a wee drive, and I choose Keswick which is only just over a 2 hour drive away from Glasgow plus its somewhere I have never seen yet.
On arrival it was a mixed day weather wise, rain dry rain etc but I heard back in Glasgow it was much much worse so I think I got the better weather.
I didn’t know anywhere here but I choose here to have my dinner in.
The Food
Smoked Haddock, Mozzarella & Spring Onion Fishcake £4.40
This sounded very nice so I had to go for it, as I do love a good fishcake.
Presentation was very nice, and I couldn’t wait to dig right in.
The coating was nice and crispy, and the insides perfectly cooked and very YUM!
This was a perfect sized portion for a starter.

Chicken Burger & Chips £6.10
I had no clue what to order for my main, so I opted for the classic chicken burger.
I also added a slice of cheese and some mayonnaise.
Lets start with the chips, these did not need any salt and had a great flavour and nice crunch to them….and there was loads!
The chicken burger was very nice, and very filling and had a nice flavour to it.
This was a very filling main and great value for money.

This was a great wee stop for some really nice and tasty food.
I am glad I chose here as everything was really nice, and the service and atmosphere was great.
