Little Italy (West End, Glasgow) 2021 : Review

V: 22nd October 2021

Tonight I was meeting a friend for dinner here, and we both felt like pizza, and we both knew what we wanted so it was going to be an easy order.

The Dinner

10″ Pepperoni Pizza £8.95

I tried the pizza slice of this ages ago, but never the full pizza so I was looking forward to trying it.

I do like a good Pepperoni pizza, and a nice thin base but did they do that here?

This was perfect, the base was lovely and thin, and the topping was very tasty.

I enjoyed every bite!

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Visit Overall :

Tonight was a really nice meal, and catchup and looking around everyone around us was having a fun and enjoyable night.

Little Italy (West End, Glasgow) 2021 : Review

V: 14th August 2021

Little Italy is starting to become a second home for me, for lunches and meeting friends.

I always feel very relaxed and at home when I visit, the service is always very good and the food is always very nice.

The Lunch

Penne Salmone £12.95
Smoked salmon, cream, white wine, onions, tomato sauce

I wanted to try a pasta, as I havent had one yet.

I opted for this one, as it sounded very nice.

On arrival this smelled and looked very nice, my mouth instantly started to water.

WOW honestly this tasted amazing! the flavour was really good I enjoyed every single mouthful.

I could have easily had a second one, thats how good it was.

I will defiantly be having this again.

My Rating :

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Visit Overall :

As I said at the start of this post, on arrival I feel instantly at home and always had good food.

Todays lunch was mega tasty and if you like salmon and pasts you 100% need to try this.

As always I finished todays meet up with a cappuccino.

To be honest with you I only came across this place, about 1 week prior to tonights visit as I was out walking and passed it and instantly added to my list.

I actually went in for dinner, but this is not a dinner place its more an Italian Cafe for snacks cake and coffee. On that note this place was good, as I wasn’t too hungry tonight so a snack was perfect.

The Food…

Soup £2.00 and Focaccia £4.50

IMG_3973.jpg

I am not normally a soup fan, but today I thought lets have a soup (my family would be shocked to read this). It was tomato soup and was the perfect size as I still had the focaccia to eat.

The focaccia was very very tasty, the flavours were nice and worked really well.

For me this was a perfect combo for a light snack and I would have it again.

Toffee Fudge Cake £3.00 & Cappuccino (Large) £2.60

I asked the staff for a recommendation for the cake as I said I wanted something very sweet, so this cake was recommended.

This was very sweet and a perfect recommendation, so I would like to thank Carin and I cant wait to have this again.

The cappuccino was very good and worked well with this cake.

Overall

Tonight was a very nice visit, I am glad I found this little cafe as it was the perfect spot for what I needed.

If you haven’t visited here yet and fancy a nice Italian snack, do check them out.
