With Mothers Day approaching fast (now past) I normally take my mum into town and go for a nice relaxing Afternoon tea.
This year with the current issues, it was going to have to be at home.
I asked on my Instagram story if anyone could recommend a good place to order from and the one that had the most votes for a local company was Caffe Romana.
The Collection
This was presented in a nice colourful box, and you could see all the goodies inside with a lovely little bow to finish it off.
The Afternoon Tea
After getting the presentation ready, and also buying a bottle of prosecco I was ready to present it to my mum
How good does it look! we both couldn’t wait to dig in.

Everything tastes fresh, lovely and myself and my mum couldn’t fault any of it.
Also included was a hot chocolate dipper with marshmallows from (Yer Maw Sells Chocolate) which was lovely and mega tasty.
My mum loved this and enjoyed every bite, and also commented like me that everything tasted so fresh, light and very tasty.
Overall :
I am glad I was introduced to Café Romana, the café looked really lovely from my visit to collect the Afternoon Tea.
I plan once things are back to normal, taking a wee drive and having a proper sit in and enjoy more of their lovely cakes etc.
Overall we both really enjoyed the Afternoon Tea and both would highly recommend Café Romana
Please do Café Romana out and Yer Maw Sells Chocolate when you can.
