Child Friendly: Yes     Accepts: Cash & Card     Style: Bulgarian Cafe/Deli

I am always up for trying new styles of food, and I was recently given some free samples from a newly opened Bulgarian Cafe so I couldn’t wait to try what I got.

I have never tried anything Bulgarian, or even heard how Bulgarian food, sweets etc taste so this would be an interesting experience for me.

I couldn’t comment on atmosphere etc as I haven’t visited this cafe in person, I was only given some samples to try. If I do get to visit, I will give you a full review.

I was given 3 samples so here is what I thought.

This was my favourite out of the three items I got to sample, mostly due to it having feta cheese as its one of my fav cheeses.

This was basically a soft bun with some feta in the middle going down half way to the centre, this was very nice and very filling.

It was nice warm and also I left some to try cold, which was ok warm was much nicer.

This looks like a crossing…kinda…but it has a bun texture and inside in layers was a jam. The jam in this one I wasn’t told what it was, but it tasted like a rose jam to me.

I am not a fan of rose anything, so I took a little but it was nice again its better warm but yeah if it had other jams inside I would love to try them.

I as told this was like a sweet bread, I tried it as it is and with some butter.

For me it wasn’t very sweet more very plain and needed some jam or something on it but it was nice.

Overall :

Firstly I would like to thank Angels for the free samples.

I love trying new foods and would like to try and sample some more Bulgarian treats.

As I said this place is not long open, so pop in say hi and try something different.

This actually was my second visit, as I liked it that much first time I had to go back.

Inside has a very modern French cafe feel, its very bright very clean and has some music on in the background at a perfect level for the customers to hear but still have a normal chat without shouting.

I was very relaxed here, and could have sat in here a lot longer than I did….but I still had a lot of places to see on my trip to Romania so once I was done it was back to sight seeing.

The Food…

So I am not mr heathy as you may have seen from my blog posts, I tend to eat very unhealthy food but today I wanted to try something light so I opted for this.

Yes its not mega healthy but for me it was, and no before you ask I didn’t take the salad (one thing you will never see me eat)

This was so so so good, the flavour was amazing and I could have easily had another one.

If your a coffee fan and your visit here, do try this I promise you that you will love it.

This restaurant is one of my favourite places to go, the staff, location and food are always perfect and I always can’t wait to return.

Today was a lovely day and I felt its time to visit here again, and try something different.

I was very undecided today as what I wanted, as there was a few items I would have liked to try…..I ended up going for pizza.

Presentation wise it looks very nice, and it smelled good so I looked forward to this. This isn’t your typical pizza, its a cross between flatbread and a pizza plus it’s not round.

The pizza is very easy to eat, it’s perfectly cooked and the flavours were spot on everything worked well together.
