One of the things I wanted to do on this visit, was to visit The Pub as you could sit at your table and pour your own beer. I have never done this before, so I thought this is very cool and I NEED to do this.

I didn’t realise this visit would also be to eat, as in my head it was only for a drink but when we arrived here we were both very hungry.

On entering its a very cool looking place, very student style but also had a nice relaxing look and feel to it.

Not all tables have the self service beer, just the ones in the middle or the restaurant. Sitting down I took a look at the device on the table, then the waitress came over and explained how it worked. She was very helpful and very friendly, and best of all for me she spoke English.

I didn’t really know what to order, but I thought I wouldn’t go for a burger as that’s always my safe option I would try something different and see how that is.

I opted for the Ribs that came with mashed potato and a sauce, unfortunately as I was to obsessed with the pulling my own beer I forgot to take note of how much this was.

The ribs were nice, not the best I have tasted but nice and the side sauce what ever it was worked amazing with it.

If your interested in the beer pulling part, check out my VLOG Part 1 of Bucharest features this VIEW HERE

Overall I would go back as I loved pulling my own beer, and it was very reasonably priced and good beer.

I enjoyed my visit here very much, I loved the feel and atmosphere plus I really loved that I could pour my own beer.

If I return to Bucharest again, I will need to go back to have more beer 🙂

So when in Romania I try Turkish food….

Tonight I had no idea what I would have, or what Turkish food is like as I have never had it.

On arrival the restaurant looked very nice and bright, and we went in and took a table.

I was told I needed to try some Turkish coffee which is strong, and since this was going to be a late night I thought perfect it will keep me awake.

This was ok coffee, a different style to what I was used to and yes it was strong so it was perfect. Unfortunately I didn’t take note of the cost, so if you visit you can let me know.

The Food…

Sarma Beyti 32 LEI

This looked a safe option for me, as I mostly went on how the food looked in the photo preview.

On arrival I thought ok looks nice, and now wonder how it tastes…

The filling for this was Lamb and Beef, with some peppers…normally I am not a pepper person as they are too hot for me but the flavour was really nice and wasn’t too spicy for me.

This was my first time going to a Turkish restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint.

The service was good, the staff very helpful and the food was very tasty.

I was told about this place prior to booking this trip to Romania, and I added it to my list to visit and try.

Today we were meeting a friend that we have not seen since December 2016/January 2017, and we had planned to meet for brunch.

On arrival to here the outside looked very nice, so I took a quick look inside and again it was very nice. The closest I could say it looked like was a Patisserie Valerie, but for me a lot brighter and more modern.

While waiting I ordered a coffee.. (Sorry can’t remember how much this was I think around the 6 LEI maybe less)

Now this is how to present a cappuccino! I loved this and was ready to see how good the coffee was here.

This was a very nice cappuccino, and if I visited here again I would order this again.

Now on to the brunch…..

The Brunch…

Sweet Breakfast Platter 49.9 LEI

On arrival again the first thing to grab my attention was the presentation, this was amazing and I loved both plates presentation.

The next was how much there was, but my thought on arrival and still is….there should have been 2 Croissants as you got so much spread you really needed at least 2.

This was a perfect size brunch, it couldn’t have been a breakfast or a lunch as it was very filling but since I didn’t have a breakfast today this was perfect and yes I finished it all.

I really liked it here, and even though the cost was more than other places in Bucharest I would like to visit here again on my next trip.
