GIFTED

I am loving this subscription box from Degusta, every month is full of amazing surprises and I am enjoying trying very much.

About Degusta Box

Enjoy 10 to 15 products, many are completely new to the market! Receive your Degusta Box every month filled with goodies.

All for a cheaper price than you would pay in the shops!

This Months Goodies

This months theme is “Home Comforts” so I couldn’t wait to receive the box, and start unboxing to see all the goodies.

Each product is available in your major supermarket chains.

Lost The Pot Noodle (Roasted Chicken & Sweet Chilli)

Who doesn’t like instant noodles? they are the quick easy comfort food you crave every now and then.

In this months box there were 2 packets of instant noodles from Lost The Pot, each were different flavours “Sweet Chilli” and “Roast Chicken”.

These Lost the Pot noodles are available in 3 flavours and are low in saturated fat.

I followed the instructions on the packet, and sat down to enjoy the Roach Chicken one first.

This was nice, the noodles nice and perfectly cooked and the flavour was just ok. I couldn’t taste too much of the chicken flavour…but that could just be me and my taste buds.

Next was the sweet chili, again I followed the instructions and tasted. These just like the first packet were cooked really well, and this did have a bit more flavour so I enjoyed these more.

Bounce Almond Plant Protein Ball

The number one entry ball brand has relaunched with a range of nut better filled energy balls

Unfortunately the Bounce ball doesn’t look like the picture on the packet, as am guessing it was a little squished during transit.

I couldn’t take this due to it having Almonds, as I am allergic so my mum volunteered to taste test it.

My mum said “it tasted like marzipan and had nice taste, soft and I enjoyed it”

Elements Vitamin Tea Ceylon Breakfast

Each tea bag contains B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, vitamin C and zinc.

I am not much of a tea drinker, but I am always up for trying and a product changing my mind about it.

This tea sounded very interesting, so I popped the kettle on and make myself a cuppa.

I decided to keep it black, so I could taste its actual flavour without spoiling it with milk etc

It tasted just ok, like tea…as I said am not much of a tea drinker so it tasted just as it should.

Am sure if you like tea, you would probably enjoy this.

BelVita Soft Bakes Chocolate and Soft Bakes Blueberry

Delicious soft bakes made from 5 wholegrains

I have tried these in the past but never the soft bakes version, so this would be interesting.

I started with the Blueberry one..

Ohh this was very nice, it was soft but had a little crunch texture to it and the flavour was really good….I finished this very fast.

Next was the chocolate chip one, and just like the Blueberry one again soft but had a little crunch and tasted really good.

The chocolate chip one was the winner, and I could easily have this again…and if I see this in the shops I would purchase it.

Koko Original Coconut Milk

Last year I decided to stop taking milk in my cereal and try an alternative, not for any particular reason just to see how it was and if I would like it.

At the same time I stopped buying the sugary cereal and the slightly more healthier option, something that also contained a little fruit in it.

The choice of alternative milk I picked and have been using since then was Koko, so when I saw the same milk alternative product I have been using I knew I would instantly like it as I have been using it for over a year now.

Knorr Vegetable and Beef Stock Pots

I have never used any stock or stock pots, so this was new for me.

I used one of these as a base for a soup, and it was OK but I am not really a big soup fan to start with.

I will try the other one another time when I think what I can use it with.

Very Lazy Chilli

I recently came across this brand when I spotted that they did Chopped Garlic, so when I saw this was in this months DegustaBox I couldn’t wait to try this.

I made myself a cheesy chilli omelette, using a little of this and it was really nice.

The chillis gave it a nice little kick, and it was very morish.

This is a great brand, they do great tasty pre-chopped items and I will continue to buy their products as I am lazy 🙂

Baka Caramel / Choco Mallow Cereal Bar

Ohhh both these bars sounded very good.

I started with the caramel one..

This had a really nice and soft texture, but for me only a very subtle hint of Caramel but it was nice and yes I did finish it.

The Choco Mallow was next..

Ohh this had an interesting flavour, and one that again very subtle but nice.

Jaffa cakes Passion Fruit & Cherry

When I was a kid I grew up munching on Jaffa cakes, they were the go to sweet treat….perfect flavour and perfect texture.

When I saw the Cherry and Passion fruit flavours in this months box, I thought ohhh these could be interesting.

I started with the Passion Fruit…

Oh I think in my mind I was expecting orange and the Passion Fruit flavour was a surprise. This had a lovely taste! just as you would expect, the normal texture we all know and love plus that passion fruit flavour mmm

Next was the Cherry one…

Ohh this one didn’t catch me off guard, and again was really nice.

The flavours of both were really good, and not too overpowering.

If you like the original Jaffa cake then you need to try these as they are just as good 🙂

Milkybar Cookies and Cream Sharing Bag

Just looking at the packet these looked good and sounded good, cookies and cream mmmm

Time to open and taste…

These were very nice, soft, creamy and had a nice centre crunch a good texture.

I am not a mega fan of white chocolate but these were nice, and I would buy them again.

Hartleys Strawberry Jam

Who doesn’t love Jam on toast for either breakfast or a wee snack.

Proper Jam is always the best as its got a great flavour, so when I saw this I couldn’t wait to make myself some toast.

This was amazing! I loved the flavour, sweetness and texture it was a perfect Jam on toast.

Hilltop Blossom Honey

I love honey but its something I don’t tend to buy too often well for toast, as I do put some honey on top of my cereal to add some extra sweetness.

When I saw this honey I had to make myself some toast, I have never had this brand before so I was looking forward to trying it.

Ohh this was really good, it wasn’t too sweet but sweet enough and had a lovely taste. It was so good I actually had to make myself some more toast, and have more of this.

If you love honey and haven’t tried this, please do check this brand out.
