I know for some people Blue Cheese is either hit or miss, due to its flavour but for me its a hit as I really like the flavour so I was very excited to try this when I spotted it.
To test this I made a nice wrap and used this as a dressing, unfortunately it was so good I forgot to take photos of the wrap but I can say it really added to the flavour and made it very enjoyable.
Poppets : Toffee and Mix Ups
Available at most supermarkets
About : Poppets are the perfectly poppable little ball of chocolatey fun. The classic toffee flavour now has a new softer, chewy texture. Our newest addition, Poppets Mix Ups, includes crunchy malt balls, chewy toffee, sweet salted caramel fudge and classic chocolate. There really is something for everyone.
I have not heard the name Poppets for a long time, so I was very surprised to see them.
I started with the original ones, and they were just like I remember.
A lovely chocolate coating surrounding a nice chewy toffee, which if you have any fillings be careful…lucky I don’t so I enjoyed these very much.
Next was the mix-up ones, which I grabbed a few and started to chew finding many different textures 🙂
This was a blast from the past for me, and a very pleasant one as I enjoyed them very much. I had to stop myself from finishing the bags as they were very addictive.
Barbells : Double Bite Caramel Crisp
Available at WHSmith, Boots, Holland & Barret, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons
This was my first time seeing this sweet and brand, so I was looking forward to try this.
I liked how it was split into two nice bite sized parts, so I took a nice big bite from one of them.
Oh this was not what I was expecting, it was a little chewy and for me not too much flavour.
It was just ok, not something I would get personally as I like things to be a bit more sweet but I am sure if you give it a try you will like it.
Baker Street:: Classic Hot Dog Rolls
Available at Tesco and selected convenience stores nationwide
About : Baker Street’s Hot Dog Rolls look and taste great but also benefit from longer life which means they’re there whenever you need them. From last-minute lunchboxes to midnight munchies and everything in between – you can rely on Baker Street.
When you fancy a quick and easy dinner, hotdogs are always a winner.
I have never tried these buns before, but I am always looking for my next fav.
I liked the fact that these were pre cut, which some brands arent…yeah am lazy that way 🙂
I had an online meeting so I just made the basic, hotdogs and tomato sauce. The buns were very nice, light, fluffy and didn’t takeaway from the flavour of the hotdogs like some do.
I was very pleased with these and if you like hotdogs do try this brand!
Indie Bay Snacks : Lightly Salted & Barbecue Pretzel Thins
Available at Morrisons, on Ocado and Amazon

Containing under 100 calories per bag, they’re an ideal snack, or the perfect topper for salads and soups.
Ohh these looked and sounded good, plus only 97 calories which is perfect as I am watching my calorie intake…well 90% of the week.
I started with the “Lightly Salted” and it was really nice, the pretzel had a nice crunch and just a hint of salt which was perfect.
Before I noticed the bottom of the bag was visible, that’s how tasty they were so I decided to take the other to my work and enjoy it there.
During a wee break at work I finished these, just like the “Lightly Salted” they were very tasty and a nice crunch and these had a nice subtle barbeque flavour to them.
I cant say what one I preferred best out of the two, as they both very tasty and moreish.
Available at Waitrose, Sainsburys, Asda and on Ocado and Amazon.
About : Mutti’s Passata is made from 100% Italian, perfectly sun-ripened summer tomatoes, harvested at their peak. It’s vibrant red colour, deliciously sweet flavour and smooth, velvety texture will keep everyone at the table happy. Ideal for short cooking times, it is also the most convenient way to cook with tomatoes!
So I left this at my parents house as I was going to make everyone a pasta once I got home from work, but my dad bet me to it.
He prepared a nice pasta, then told me once I had finished it was with this sauce so no pics sorry…
This was a very nice pasta, the passata added a lovely flavour and wasn’t too strong a taste just a very nice balance.
I would use this again for future dishes.
V.B.S : Indulgent Chocolate Cherry
Available at most supermarkets
About : V.I.Bs Indulgent Chocolate Cherry bring a new, intense flavour sensation to the V.I.Bs range, with the sweet, fruity taste of cherry. Each biscuit has been golden-baked to perfection, topped with a generous layer of delicious, chewy caramel and finished off with a thick layer of McVitie’s signature silky-smooth milk chocolate.
I do like a lot of McVities snacks, and in the previous Degusta box’s they have been very good so when I saw there was another one from them i got very excited.
I spotted these were cherry flavour, which normally for me is either hit or miss. Sometimes a snack can be too strong in flavour where it tastes fake or not enough…so lets see how these are.
I took a bit and was only subtly hit with a cherry flavour that for me didn’t last too long, the rest was nice as it was like a normal Mcvities but flavour wise….I was a little disappointed.
I do have a sweet tooth so it could just be me, but not much of a cherry flavour.
Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups TRIO
Available from most supermarkets
As you may have seen from my previous posts I am a BIG fan of everything Reese’s.
When I spotted these I knew they would be gone very very fast.
As you would expect from them, lovely chocolate flavour with the smooth and tasty peanut butter.
Highly recommended if you like peanut butter and haven’t tried these before.

I looked at the packet and thought oh these will be nice…..but I didnt realise how nice.
I popped the bag open and the smell was lovely, a nice herby Italian smell.
Now to taste…
WOW WOW WOW!!! yes I absolutely loved these, the crunch the texture the flavour it was a 1000% mmm
If you like the sound of this, or the style of snack do check them out.
Cheerios : Vanilla os
Available at Sainsbury
I am a cereal person for breakfast, so when I saw I got this I was very happy as I really like Cheerios.
I clicked the kettle to get my coffee ready, and poured this in to my bowl.
I poured in my milk, sat down and enjoyed my morning cereal.
These are very nice, nice flavour and very light so they don’t bloat you which is good as you want to eat and get going to where ever your heading that day.
I will be getting these again.
Sempio : Bulgogi Sauce
Available of H-Mart, Oseyeo Supermarket
This was another one that my dad decided to get his hands on, I guess he wanted to try his chef skills.
He made a nice stir fry and used this sauce.
WOW this was so so nice, it had a lovely BBQ flavour which added to the excising flavour of the stir fry and made it very very moreish.
Pot Noodle Fusions : Katsu Curry & Thai Green Chilli Chicken Curry
Available at Sainsburys and Asda
About : Experience a taste of Asia, with NEW Pot Noodle Fusions. Introducing a tasty Thai Green Curry, a spicy Chilli Chicken, and a Katsu fit for a king, all from the nations favourite instant noodle brand*.
Pot Noodles are a snack that I have every now and then, just for quickness and at work for lunch.
These flavours are new to me so I couldnt wait to taste them.
I started with the Thai Green Curry flavour, and followed the instructions on the pot.
The flavour was very nice, and the noodles were nice…overall it was ok.
The chilli chicken was also very nice, and I did enjoy them both and would add them to my lunch snack list.
