Lychee Oriental (Glasgow) 2021 : Review

Its been a long time coming, that I had t come back to Lychee as I think it was over a year…so I had to visit and tonight I did that.

Starter :

Vietnamese King Prawn Rolls £6.00

Tonight was all about trying something new for me, and as far as I can remember I have not had this before.

As always presentation here is always perfect, and its all instant eye candy.

I first tried these on their own.

The batter was really nice, it had a nice crisp to it but not too crunchy and the prawn was perfectly cooked.

Now with the soya…mmm just as nice but added that salty flavour we all love.

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Main Course :

Again there were so many options I wanted to try, and I was tempted to order my usual but I opted for this.

Honey Chilli Chicken & Fried Rice £14.50

Normally I go for my normal, but today I opted for the honey version to see how this compared to my normal dish….plus I told Jimmy I would order something different on my next visit so I had to keep my word.

Visually this looked like my normal dish here, but how does the taste compare.

Ohh this does taste different, very nice and the honey is nice and subtle with a little kick.

This was very nice but I think my normal still wins but a very enjoyable dish and highly recommended.

My Rating :

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Overall :

I always love coming back to Lychee Oriental, as its my favourite Chinese restaurant in Glasgow. The staff, service and food are always perfect.

I highly recommend you visit here at lunch or in the evening, you will not be disappointed!
