Kingshouse Hotel (Glencoe, Scotland) 2021 : Review

The Visit

I have been here before, but it was a few years ago with a tour company and we only stopped just to see the deer.

Today me and a few friends were doing a wee Scottish drive, and I added here as a stop so they could see the deer and maybe stop for a drink or lunch.

The Food

Kingshouse Fish & Chips £17
Beer battered haddock, coleslaw, chunky fries

I am not a big fish and chips person, but I thought lets try something different.

On arrival this was a BIG portion, and it looked really really good….time to taste.

I started with the chips, these were very nice and had a nice slight crunch to them.

Now to the fish, ohhh this was very fresh, the batter was perfect and had a lovely texture to it….all in all it was very very tasty and highly recommended.

Blueberry Smash Mocktail £4.00
Blueberries, honey syrup, lime juice & fresh rosemary

Today I was the driver, so I had to be a good boy and not drink any beers etc

I have actually cut back on a lot of alcoholic drinks since last year, mostly due to driving more and watching the wallet.

This was really tasty, very sweet and refreshing which was perfect after my long drive.

Overall :

Today was a great day, time with friends, taking in the sights and the food here was very nice plus the view with the lunch amazing!!

Highly recommended you take a visit here either for sights, food, stay over night or all of the above.

I am adding here to my Top Spots page.
