If you have been following my blog, you will know I was recently (at the time of writing this) at La Laterna’s 1st Birthday event and we got to try some dishes from the new tapas menu.
Tonight I was going to see Mario Biondi at Oran Mor, so to keep the Italian theme I visited here to try the same tapas again
The Food…
(V) Arancini Arrabbiata £4.95
Crispy fried balls of rice with sweet pepper & mozzarella with chilli dip
I had these on the birthday night and loved these so I had to have them again.
Just like the other night, these were so mmmm if you have never tried these I highly recommend these!! amazing flavour and extremely moreish!

Calamari Fritti £5.95
Crispy fried calamari with garlic mayonnaise
As I always say these can either be bad or nicely done just depends on how the chef does them.
Tonight these were good, not chewy and had a very nice flavour and the added dip gave it that extra punch.

(V) Panzerotti Biano & Rosso £4.95
Crispy fried pizza parcel filled with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes
These were another fav from the birthday night, so I thought let’s try them again and see if I still like them.
Yip! they were very mmmm
Just think of a very small calzoni pizza, and this is what you have but due to its size, it’s bursting with flavour.

Not disappointed one bit tonight, and so glad to try the tapas again.
