Event Date : Thursday 20th April 2017

This is my 3rd blogger meet up event, and this was held at the Glasgow restaurant Topolabamba.

This time I created a private group on Facebook, where everyone could see the details and select if they were going or not. So this time round I was a little more organised and professional than before.

If you are a blogger in Glasgow, doesn’t need to be food it can be any please feel free to contact me and I can send you an invite to the group.

I was looking forward to this event, as I managed to invite a lot more people and also Topolabamba does good food.

Unfortunately there were a lot of cancellations, due to many different reasons so tonight was just a very cosy crowd. This has got to be expected at any event, hopefully my 4th will have more

On to the food….

Chicken Tinga Quesadillas £4.95

I have never ordered these and saw that they were a little spicy, so I asked the waitress how spicy they were and she sold them to me as they sounded nice.

I don’t like mega spicy things, so when it arrived I knew this would either be really nice or too spicy and I wouldn’t enjoy it….Lucky it was the first.

This was really good and full of flavour, the spice on a scale of 1 to 10 was only a 1 to a 2 for me which was perfect.

I would order this again!

Shredded Beef Burrito £6.95

I had this the last visit, and thought would try again as I really liked it. Its very filling, and again packed with flavour. Again like last time the sauce with it, it didn’t do anything for me so I left it as the Burrito on its own was better without it.

Flavour : 4.5

Extra : I did also order the Smoked Chorizo & Quesos Quesadillas but I ate them before I remembered to take a photo so next time I will comment on them.

I had to have the same dessert as I had on my last visit, as it was so so good since I have a very sweet tooth.

Mexican Chocolate Cup £4.95

I needed my chocolate burst tonight and this was the fix.

This is a thick chocolate mousse, that is very chocolatey and perfect if your like me and have a sweet tooth.

Overall :

Overall a nice night where we had laughs and good food, as I said unfortunately a lot cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances but it was a nice evening.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the waitress tonight, her name is Nicole and she was very helpful and very pleasant so a big thank you to her from all of us.
