Visit Date :  12th March 2017

I enjoyed my last visit here, I decided to see how the food was.

On arrival, we were welcomed and shown to our table. I only found out at this visit, they have more tables and seats downstairs.

Downstairs is also nicely decorated, and has a nice cosy atmosphere and feel to it. I didn’t take any photos as there were too many people about, and they were enjoying their meal so I didn’t want to make them feel uncomfortable.

Starter :

Pate’ Brulee £8
Rich chicken liver pate infused with cognac, port & thyme. Finished with a candied crust.

I love pate, so I had to try it here and see what its like.

When this arrived the first thing I noticed was there was some topping on the Pate, I have never been anywhere where it’s been presented like this.

This was a candied crust, the thickness was thin so it was easy to break. It didn’t really add anything to the flavour of the Pate, more just gave it a slight crush.

This was probably the nicest Pate I have had, and I will be back for more.

Main :

Toscano (Pizza) £12
Tomato, mozzarella, Italian sausage, potato, onion & chilli

Tonight my girlfriend and I decided to share a pizza, and this was the one we decided to go for.

Normally when I have ordered a pizza it comes round, and on a round dish, this was more rectangular which was interesting.

The base was very nice and thin, the topping was very nice and overall it was very filling. For me personally, I could have done with a little more sausage, but that’s just me being a pig.

Flavour : 3.5

Dessert :

Tiramisù £6

Yes, I had this last time but today we decided to order a dessert each, and have half of each.

Again just like last time, this is very moreish, and if you like Tiramisù then you have to try this.

Portion Size : 5
Flavour : 5
Presentation : 5

Poached pears with vanilla cream (GF) £6

This was the first time having this…well half as this sounded very good.

The presentation was very nice, and the pears were nice and soft. It was nice, but the flavour for me wasn’t for me.

Portion Size : 5
Flavour : 3
Presentation : 4.5

Overall :

This is now in my top two places to eat in the Glasgow West End, its very relaxing, and the food is good.

The social media side of Eusebi Deli whoever runs that, is also very friendly so do check them out.
